Wind and snow are not single universal product ratings. This page explains how Domevora reviews wind and snow for a project, what data the buyer should send, and what documents the supplier should provide.

The honest answer

Wind and snow are project questions, not sticker values.

Domevora does not treat wind or snow as a single universal product rating. The shell is rated level 14 for wind, with installed performance depending on model, anchoring and foundation. For commercial projects, the required design wind speed, snow load, anchoring and foundation conditions are reviewed against the selected model and site.

Provide site design wind speed / pressure and local code requirements for engineering review. The final foundation and local code compliance are confirmed by the project’s local engineer.

Location basics

City / country, altitude and terrain type (open field, forest edge, urban, hilltop).

Design data (if known)

Design wind speed or basic wind pressure, snow load, and the local code reference (e.g. ASCE 7, Eurocode, GB 50009).

Exposure

Coastal or salt-air exposure, prevailing wind direction, and any local wind-funnelling conditions.

Site works

Planned foundation type, anchoring method and who designs the base locally.

Is EN 16153 a wind or snow certification?

No. EN 16153 is a material standard for multi-skin light-transmitting sheets. It is a material property reference, not a structural wind or snow certification for an installed structure.
