The shell is only as stable as the base it sits on. Base dimensions come with the product; foundation design, construction and anchoring for the site are completed by local professionals.
The principle
A flat, level, load-appropriate base is the first engineering decision.
Domevora provides the base dimensions for each model. The project team designs and builds the platform — existing patio, timber deck or concrete pad — for the soil and site conditions, with anchoring suited to the substrate.
Wind performance is model-, anchoring- and site-dependent. The local engineer confirms the foundation and anchoring against the site’s design wind and snow loads.
Foundation options

Anchoring
Anchoring is reviewed per project, not per catalogue.
The base profile provides the anchoring interface; the anchor type (bolts, ground screws, ballast or combinations) is chosen for the substrate and site conditions. For commercial projects, the anchoring detail is reviewed with the stated model and site data before quotation.
Salt air, prevailing wind and seasonal freeze-thaw change the anchoring detail — document them before quotation, not after delivery.

Do you provide the foundation?
No — the foundation or platform is a local scope item. Domevora provides base dimensions and anchoring interface details; a local professional designs and builds the base for the soil and site.
What are the base dimensions for my model?
Base dimensions are confirmed with the written quotation for the selected model. They are also available in the product datasheet on request.
Can the dome sit on an existing deck?
Yes, where the deck is level, load-appropriate and provides suitable anchor points. A local professional verifies the deck structure for the model and site loads.
What anchoring do you recommend for high wind?
Anchoring is reviewed per project: substrate, design wind speed and local code requirements determine the anchor type and detail. The local engineer confirms the final design.
